He had suspended 3 SDMs and 2 tehsildars in the meeting. Now all are cautious. After the resumption of the Chief Secretary's visit, preparations have begun in Indore too. The Chief Minister organized a meeting of collectors of all the districts and reviewed their works.
Last August 31, Chief Secretary BP Singh reviewed the functioning of all the districts of the division in Indore. In the meeting, he suspended 3 SDMs and 2 Tehsildars. The panic of that meeting is visible in the authorities till now. The Chief Secretary had said that after two months I will return. Officials, from this fear, improved the functioning and resolved the pending cases and collected the recovery of outstanding taxes. The Chief Secretary is coming again but not two months later, but five months later. They will hold a meeting in the month of February. With this information, the authorities have gone to sleep.
Before the Chief Secretary's arrival, Sanjay Dubey, the convener, organized a meeting of collectors of all the districts of the division on Tuesday. He instructed that till January 31 all the collectors should notify the pending revenue cases. No case pending for nomination, sharing, demarcation etc. In the first week of February, the Chief Secretary will review the revenue cases of the Indore division. Fix cases pending for more than two years and adjacent cases in the time limit. The collector should review the revenue cases at district level every week and give proper guidelines to the Tehsildars and SDMs. Mr. Dubey said that the TSM machine should be used for demarcation in the Indore division. Jabber be seized. Remove all encroachments by running all collector campaigns.
It was informed in the meeting that 1983 residential lease has been distributed for the Prime Minister's residence in Indore Division. To fulfill the goal of the Prime Minister's Housing, he also directed to set up residential colony on government land. It was informed in the meeting that in the last 10 years in the Indore Division, 1 lakh 5 thousand 772 forest rights lease has been distributed to the tribals. Disharshan tax has been recovered in Indore division of Rs. 1 billion and 80 crore rupees. Of this, Rs 52 crore was recovered in Indore. Mr. Dubey instructed the collectors that he would campaign in his district and check the new colonies, schools, business institutions, dhabas and recover diversion fees as per rules. Due to non-payment of diversion fees, action should be taken after registering the case under section 52. In the meeting, collectors Nishant Varvade, Shriman Shukla, Ganesh Shankar Mishra, Deepak Singh, Abhishek Singh, Ashish Saxena, Deputy Commissioner Sapna Shivale and other officials were present.
